The Stable is a cosy rural retreat located in the peaceful Exmoor hamlet of Trentishoe. Surrounded by spectacular countryside of the Exmoor National Park the cottage is one of only 3 holiday properties at the same location. Beautifully presented throughout, the cottage is at the gable end of a row of 3 properties and has been thoughtfully designed to retain some of the original character including low ceilings (6'6"). The front entrance leads directly into a good size open plan living/dining room with a steep open tread staircase to the first floor. A well-equipped kitchen area has all you will need for cosy meals around the dining table or in the sheltered private garden area adjoining. On the first floor an attractive bedroom has lovely country views and an adjacent bathroom. Close to the picturesque Heddon Valley and just a short walk to the famous National Trust Hunters Inn which offers local dining and an outside pizza oven. Lovely country and coastal walks are easily accessible including a walk to the picturesque smugglers cove at Heddons Mouth. Trentishoe is only a 15 minute scenic drive from the famous twin Exmoor villages of Lynton and Lynmouth and the sand, rock and shingle cove of Combe Martin famous for its smugglers tales and historic silver mines. There are opportunities for riding and fishing in the area and Landrover Safaris will show you the beauty of the flora and fauna in this small National Park. Further afield the wonderful award winning beaches of the North Devon Golden Coast including Woolacombe and Croyde are only a 35 minute drive whilst historic and vibrant market towns including Barnstaple and South Molton are great places to shop.
