Description

The Grainstore brings an element of luxury into open-plan living, with five ensuite bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and contemporary, modern living/dining room. Newly converted, this old barn has been lovingly transformed into a contemporary getaway for families and friends. The property’s outdoor space is an extension of the lovingly furnished inside, with its own decking area to include garden furniture and a gas barbecue for some alfresco dining. There is a glass screen installed around the pond to ensure safety for party members of all ages, meaning everyone can spend quality time together and enjoy your very own lake-view. Every need and home comfort has been carefully included, with an extra fridge in the kitchen for your big get-together or celebration, and even a Smart TV in every bedroom. Every element makes for a year-round retreat, with amenities only a short distance away.  On site is a games barn and outdoor play area that you also have access to. Shop: 1 mile Pub: within walking distance

Notes: This is a non-smoking property. Mobile reception – good. 1875 Muntjac Barn, 2005 Roe Deer Barn and 2304 The Mill, all sleeping 10, can be booked alongside this property for larger parties who wish to holiday together yet retain their own space. The Mill is next door, whilst Muntjac Barn and Roe Deer Barn are on site. 

Briston is large village located within North Norfolk just four miles inland from the Georgian town of Holt. There is a pub, two shops, a bakery and a butcher. It’s a great location from which to explore all North Norfolk has to offer. Holt has a lovely range of local shops, a small independent supermarket together with plenty of tea rooms or restaurants offering locally sourced produce. Catch a steam or diesel train along the Poppyline, a coastal track which visits Weybourne and Sheringham. Many of the most wonderful beaches are within a short drive of The Grainstore, go to Wells-next the-Sea and walk along the Quay or visit the vast sandy beach. The popular seaside towns of Sheringham and Cromer make for a great day out for all the family, each having a golf course too! Salthouse and Cley-next-the-Sea are great bird watching locations, you will be spoilt for choice with so many places to discover.

The house is beautiful and very comfortable. We were particularly pleased that all the bedrooms were nice doubles with an en suite. The owners are wonderful and couldn’t do enough to ensure you have a nice stay. They very kindly left us a home made cake, bottle of fizz and crisps which was much appreciated.

This house was the perfect location for a reunion of old friends. Spacious enough for 10, but still cosy enough to feel homely. The house was immaculately clean and the kitchen equipment was spot on. The welcome milk and Prosecco and the wonderful homemade cake were lovely touches as well! I would highly recommend this property and look forward to staying again!

As a family 10 adults we absolutely love staying at the grain store.we were welcomed with a homemade cake,wine,snacks & milk. It’s well equipped clean & beds are very comfortable. Wonderful location & very peaceful the games room was nice and family shuffle board tournament took place. Tim the owner was very accommodating & was quick to respond to any requests or queries we had .

Our week’s holiday in Norfolk was made even better by our stay at The Grainstore. It was spacious with a great sociable space, perfect for our three generations to spend quality time together. It was exceptionally clean and beautifully presented, very well equipped with comfortable and plentiful sofas, and very comfortable super king beds. It was such a luxury to have en-suite bathrooms to all the bedrooms! The outside space, overlooking the duck pond, and the large gas barbecue were great as was the children’s playground and the games room. There is something here for everyone to enjoy! A brilliant holiday home which we hope to revisit in the future!

It was the perfect place to relax and there was more than enough space for the 9 of us including 4 children. It was lovely to have a cake and some wine left which was a really nice touch. Highly recommended, but next time I think we'll leave the kids behind and make it an adults only break when we book again. Thank you so much for all the help. It was really appreciated.
