The Mill is one of the best properties we have ever stayed in - it is now the benchmark for our future 'week-away' bookings. The property is located in very peaceful surroundings but it's not too far from Holt or the coast. It is extremely spacious, very comfortable, well furnished, with the addition of ample parking space and on-site games room,Read more is really wanting for nothing (we've never had our own lake with resident ducks before) and if there was any problem it was fixed almost immediately. We loved The Mill and can't recommend it highly enough! Hide

We had a fabulous time. The cottage was amazing and the kitchen very well stocked as we cooked Christmas dinner for ten. The hot tub was a lovely added extra. The Norfolk countryside is beautiful in the winter. Such a lovely Christmas break. It all felt extra special.

A fantastic 'friends getaway' at The Mill. We have just returned from a superb weekend at The Mill and I couldn't recommend it highly enough for a friends trip. It was the perfect combination of luxury, space and a fantastic location. The cottage itself, a beautifully converted barn is absolutely stunning. The open plan living area was ideRead moreal for our group, plenty of seating for relaxing, eating & drinking together. It was stylish yet cosy and spotlessly clean throughout. The setting is beautiful and quiet overlooking a lovely lake. The kitchen was well-equipped, which made catering for us completely stress-free. The en-suite bedrooms meant we all had our own space and no queuing for the bathroom in the morning. The property has a hot tub, which we didn't use due to it being zero degrees outside and raining but a great new addition to the property. The games room is within walking distance of the cottage, with table tennis, pool table and darts. We did a day out to Wells next to sea and enjoyed a lunch and watched Father Christmas coming with his flotilla of boats to the shore, with fireworks in the evening. We also had a delicious Sunday lunch at The Three Horseshows, a lovely country pub only a 15 minute walk away. Very relaxed atmosphere and good service, would highly recommend. Hide

Beautiful location. Very tranquil with easy access to local areas however a car would be essential. Spotlessly clean and fully equipped. Lovely setting with a pond and resident ducks and a fully equipped games room for the kids.
