Cottages in Exmouth

A holiday cottage in Exmouth is the perfect way to enjoy one of the most beautiful spots on the South Devon coast. We have a range of holiday cottages across the larger Exmouth area, including locations such as Exeter, Sidmouth, Dawlish, Budleigh Salterton and Branscombe. Known for its warm weather, traditional seaside attractions and long, sandy beach, a holiday in Exmouth is the perfect summer treat, but is equally lovely all year round. The town itself is very dog-friendly and we offer a range of pet-friendly accommodation nearby, should you so wish to bring a four-legged friend along for the journey.

Being at the mouth of the River Exe, Exmouth is a natural hotspot for a range of watersports. Many like to book onto a windsurfing or sailing session during their time in Exmouth, whilst the beach provides safe bathing waters for a good old-fashioned swim. Take advantage of the amazing sea views on offer by heading to The Dock and booking onto a boat trip on the River Exe, where you can travel eastwards toward Lyme Regis or westward toward Torbay.

On land, you’ll find a range of activities on offer in Exmouth. The Exmouth land train is a great way to explore the town, especially if you are with young children or those with limited mobility and only costs one pound per person. The ‘Blue Plaque’ walking trail is a brilliant way to discover more about Exmouth’s past and takes you past a number of notable local landmarks, including famous smuggler’s spots and the home of Admiral Nelson’s estranged wife, who lived in the town.

Exmouth is also known for its cuisine and boasts a fine collection of restaurants, pubs and eateries. Some of our local favourites are The Grapevine Brewhouse pub, Rockfish seafood on the marina and Ocean: Exmouth, which not only sells tasty grub but also has a full-blown children’s play area and bowling alley.

One thing is clear about Exmouth and that’s that it is a town with a lot happening, so if you like the sound of this South Devon charm, browse below to book one of our local holiday cottages.
