Holiday cottages in Parracombe

Browse our vast selection of Parracombe cottages to find the right place for your next South West escape. The quintessentially British village of Parracombe is set within the vast Exmoor National Park, just a few miles from Devon’s coastline. This undisturbed community offers quiet country roads, tree-lined cottages and that all-important country pub for some dependable Devonshire fare. Get ready to enjoy some serious R&R with your nearest and dearest while staying here, opting for a quiet country cottage with the River Heddon gently tumbling past. Our self-catering accommodation choices include spacious retreats for larger groups of family and friends and some smaller boltholes for two or three guests to stay at a time. So many of them are dog friendly too, ideal for walking the surrounding Exmoor countryside.

You can set off walking in every direction to discover the splendour of this national park. Lace up your walking boots and hike the Barle Valley, spotting pretty rivers, meadows and woodlands whilst meandering along its footpaths. On the edge of the village, Woody Bay Station connects you to Lynton and Barnstaple on the Lynton and Barnstaple Railway, a beloved North Devon attraction. Take the narrow-gauge railway up to Lynton, where you can also take a trip on the Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway for the very best views of the surrounding coastline. Also nearby, the bustling seaside settlements of Ilfracombe and Combe Martin lie waiting to be explored. At the end of every day, return home to your cosy and comfortable Parracombe cottage, available to book here.
