The island is separated from the mainland during high tide but is accessible on foot during low tide and makes for a truly breathtaking coastal walk. 

Lying at the heart of the North Norfolk coast, Burnham Market is also in a prime position to explore the rest of this stunning coastline. Highlights include the walk from Holkham Beach to Wells, a trip to the fishing village of Brancaster Staithe, a day in the historic town of King’s Lynn, and a visit to the charming seaside towns of Cromer and Sheringham.
