Holiday cottages in Beadnell

Beadnell is Seahouses’ closest neighbour, making it the ideal spot from which to explore this part of the Northumberland coast. Our Beadnell holiday cottages range from centuries-old stone cottages to modern, spacious apartments and large barn conversions. As one of our largest Northumberland collections, our Beadnell cottages are extremely varied and all unique.

Many of our holiday cottages in Beadnell are also dog-friendly, as is much of our portfolio across Northumberland. Beadnell is located on the Northumberland Coastal Path, which is a favoured spot of dog walkers, should you decide to bring your four-legged friend along on your jollies. You can pick up the path anywhere and tailor the length of your walk to what suits you, but we highly recommend the walk from Beadnell to Craster Harbour. Starting in Beadnell Harbour, the route follows the trail of the Northumberland Coastal Path, along the coast to Snook Point and through Low Newton-by-the-Sea, from where you can see amazing views of Dunstanburgh Castle. The walk is completely dog-friendly and is a fantastic way to explore this part of the sandy Northumbrian coast.

But just because Beadnell is an outdoorsy place, it doesn’t mean it lacks a sense of glamour. Many of our homes in Beadnell are luxury cottages, meaning they come with extra special features such as enclosed gardens, hot tubs and fire pits, and private parking, as well as being very easy on the eye!

If you decide to stay in Beadnell, we guarantee you’ll spend lots of time on the beach, which is undoubtedly one of Northumberland’s finest. Beadnell Bay is a dog-friendly beach and is sublime all year round, but there’s a particular buzz here during the summertime. Water sports are very popular at Beadnell Bay, as the bay can produce swells of up to 15 feet, it is well-loved by surfers and bodyboarders. With local businesses offering group sessions and equipment hire, you can try your hand at a range of water sports including wakeboarding, waterskiing, surfing and bodyboarding.

Beadnell is such a friendly place, with amazing local attractions, eateries and more, making it the perfect holiday destination. Browse our collection of holiday cottages in the area and start planning your Northumberland trip today!
