Located just 0.5 miles from the vast sandy beach, this home-from-home cottage is an ideal base for two people from which to explore the picturesque Northumbrian countryside and coastline. Situated within the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it’s a haven for bird and outdoor enthusiasts alike. The historic market town of Seahouses, with a pretty harbour offering boat trips to the Farne Islands is under 2 miles away. The bay at Beadnell offers a variety of water sports, including surfing, windsurfing, snorkelling and diving. For those that want to stay out of the water, there are miles of coastline to explore with trails accessible right from the front door. The tidal island of Lindisfarne, or Holy Island as it’s often known, is 20 miles away and Bamburgh, with its stunning seafront castle, is 5 miles away.

Accessed via a couple of stone steps, but all on one floor once inside, this welcoming apartment offers an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area which is spacious and tastefully furnished. After a wonderful day in the great outdoors, sink into the sofa and snuggle up for a film on the TV. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything required for a self-catering break. The cosy double bedroom features a modern en-suite shower room. Plus, guests have access to a shared laundry room with a washing machine, dryer and ironing facilities.

A bench at the front of the property is a great spot to relax in the fresh air. The beach and all the amenities of the harbour are less than 0.5 miles away.

This is our second stay at Almond Apartment and we were more than happy with the cottage including the location, the facilities and the information provided. On site car parking is also a bonus.

Location in Beadnell is good. Private adequate parking outside apartment. Steps to access front door steep in depth, no handrail for support. A person with mobility issues would find it difficult to access property. Not easy taking suitcases in and out due to deep steps. A laundry room is set behind the bedroom wall, presumably for all other gueRead morests in the surrounding apartments to use, we were disturbed until 22.30hrs some evenings by washing machine noise. Clean and functional cottage in a good area for dog walks on the beach. Pricing reflects the quality.
