This elegant two-bedroom lodge sits in a scenic holiday park within the gorgeous Cornwall National Landscape, and offers a wonderful, restful break for a family or friends. It sleeps four and is surrounded by beautiful countryside and rugged coastal views. Across the road from the park, a footpath leads to Bossiney Cove (0.5 miles), where at low tide you’ll find a sandy beach, rock pools, sea caves and a waterfall (it’s worth noting that the route down includes steep cliff steps). The historic town of Tintagel is a flat walk away (1 mile), with its lively main street packed with cafés, bakeries, pubs, restaurants and gift shops. For a day steeped in Arthurian legend, visit Tintagel Castle (1.5 miles), dramatically set above the sea. St Nectan’s Glen (1.5 miles) is another lovely outing, with woodland paths leading to its waterfalls. You could also wander around Boscastle’s historic harbour (3 miles).
On arrival, you’ll climb a few steps from ground level onto the lovely decked area that surrounds the retreat. Inside, the open-plan living area is filled with natural light and offers everyone a comfortable place to relax after a day out. Sink into the comfortable seating for four in the lounge space and choose a film on the Smart TV for some easy entertainment. The well-equipped kitchen area is opposite, with a dining area for sitting down to meals. When it’s time to turn in, choose between a double bedroom and a twin bedroom with 2′6″ single beds. A Jack and Jill shower room with WC connects the two bedrooms for convenience.
Make the most of good weather by taking coffee and meals out to the enclosed raised deck. After busy days, enjoy time in your own hot tub – a real treat for your legs if you’ve been out walking all day. Parking for one car is provided beside the lodge.
