This contemporary lodge stands in quiet, rural Cornwall, part of a small development set between the county's north and south coasts, made for families and friends who want to mix walking with water sports. If you can tear yourself away from the splendid views towards The Lizard, you can spend long days exploring stretches of the Southwest Coast Path, ideal for keen walkers and outdoor enthusiasts alike. Lanes from the site open onto cycling and walking routes, with bridleway riding for those who prefer to see the countryside from the saddle. Stithians Lake Activities Centre, 2 miles away, draws sailors and paddlers inland, while the maritime town of Falmouth, 9.5 miles away, sits within reach of the south coast's sheltered sailing waters. Sea safari excursions run from the charming harbour at St Ives, 19.5 miles away, home to many fantastic galleries and eateries.
The light and bright open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner features all your creature comforts, with the kitchen and dining space flowing into a sitting area, and a set of French doors opening onto the south-facing decking. Beautiful wooden cladding through the space offers a glimpse into the heritage of the local area. On a fine evening, throw open the French doors to the decking to fill the lodge with fresh countryside air. The dining table offers plenty of room for the whole group to eat together after a day on the water or the coast path. The blissful king-size bedroom sits along the corridor and features an en-suite bathroom with a spa bath. Two further peaceful bedrooms are arranged as twins and can be made up as doubles by arrangement, giving the layout flexibility for families or two couples sharing. The stylish family shower room, further along the same corridor, offers everything you need to wash off at the end of a day's adventure.
The south-facing decking provides the perfect spot for alfresco meals and sundowners amongst stunning views across the site and towards The Lizard. The hot tub is made for stargazing and relaxing after a busy adventure. A wildflower area and a children's play park sit within the grounds, both shared with other guests staying on the development. Parking is available at the lodge, and a domestic welcome pack is provided on arrival.
