This three-bedroom lodge sits in quiet rural Cornwall, part of a development set between the county's north and south coasts, with far-reaching views towards The Lizard, perfect for a family coastal adventure. Keen outdoor enthusiasts can indulge in days spent surfing across Cornwall's stunning coastline or following the Southwest Coast Path to be rewarded with breathtaking views. Rugged cliff-top paths and hidden coves lie in either direction, while cycling and horse-riding trails wind through the surrounding countryside. Stithians Lake Activities Centre, 2 miles away, draws water sports enthusiasts, and the maritime town of Falmouth, 9.5 miles away, has a working harbour and galleries to wander around. The steep streets and local shops of charming St Ives, 19.5 miles away, sit on the north coast, whilst the golden sands and dramatic rock formations of Kynance Cove can be reached within 18 miles.
The heart of this lodge is the spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, where French doors open onto the south-facing deck and flood the space with plenty of natural sunlight. Stunning wooden cladding adds a touch of rustic charm. The seating area faces the glass, so you can lose yourself in the view south from the comfort of the sofa. The sociable arrangement offers plenty of room for the whole party to sit back and unwind as the cooks of the group whip up something delicious. The dining table set off the lounge space provides the perfect spot for enjoying your tasty local produce over a glass of something sparkling. The king-size bedroom leads off the living space and boasts a stylish en-suite bathroom with a spa bath and overhead shower. Two further bedrooms are arranged as twins and either can be made up as a double by arrangement, which makes the layout adaptable for two couples or for children who want a room each. Serving both is a generous family shower room that provides everything you need to wash off after a long day on the local trails.
The south-facing decking runs straight off the open-plan living space, with room for al fresco dining amongst magnificent views that stretch towards the south. Before bedtime, slip into the hot tub on the patio below to enjoy a spot of stargazing in the clear, dark skies. Guests also have use of a wildflower area and a children's play park, both shared with other properties on the development. Parking is available adjacent to the lodge. A domestic welcome pack is provided on arrival.
