Escape to the North Cornwall coast in this stunning bolthole in Polzeath. The single-storey property sleeps six guests across three bedrooms, and suits both families and groups of friends looking to embrace beach life. Follow the footpath down to Polzeath’s sandy shores, where you can spend the day building sandcastles, eating ice creams, or hitting the surf. The village itself has a great range of eateries, many serving fresh seafood and local produce. A 2-mile stroll along the South West Coast Path brings you to the chic resort of Rock, and from here you can hop on the ferry to spend an afternoon pottering around the historic fishing port of Padstow. Other day trips from the holiday home include the lively surfing town of Newquay (23 miles), and the picture-postcard fishing village of Port Isaac (6.5 miles). Nearby attractions include Tintagel Castle, Prideaux Place, and Camel Creek Family Theme Park (all within 15 miles).

Tucked away at the far end of a stylish development, this gorgeous coastal home is finished to a high standard, with plush soft furnishings and thoughtful touches to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The social hub of the house is a bright and spacious lounge/kitchen/diner with a subtle coastal theme. To the rear of the room is a sleek kitchen area with a breakfast bar and all the equipment needed for a self-catering break. After a bite to eat, unwind on the velvet sofa with a good book or a classic movie on the Smart TV. On a summer’s day, open the bi-fold doors onto the sun deck for indoor/outdoor living. When night falls, choose from three tranquil bedrooms. The first is an inviting double bedroom with an en-suite shower room and patio doors opening onto the sun deck. There is also a second double bedroom and a super-king-size bedroom with zip-and-link beds, offering flexible sleeping arrangements. A family bathroom completes the accommodation.

Outside, the south-west-facing sun deck is the ideal spot to chill out after a day at the coast. On a balmy evening, cook some fresh seafood on the BBQ and settle down at the table for a delicious feast with family and friends. The outdoor space also has a handy heated shower and space to store surfboards and wetsuits. The property has private parking for two cars.
