An exceptional, single-storey luxury lodge, this sophisticated hideaway offers an idyllic North Cornwall break. Sleeping six guests, the three-bedroom abode is nestled in a development just 500 metres from Polzeath’s sandy beach. Spend afternoons down here with your paddle and surfboards or savour an early morning dip in the clear waters before breakfast. Pull on your walking boots and stride out along the South West Coast Path to absorb the rugged coastal views and look out for dolphins and porpoises in the ocean. Head 3 miles to Rock, with its picture-postcard Camel Estuary beach and ferry across the water to Padstow. Enjoy a seafood lunch in Padstow, then amble about the streets, browsing in its independent shops and pausing for a cream tea. While on this side of the estuary, visit other beautiful beaches, such as Trevone Bay, 2 miles from Padstow, and Harlyn Bay, a distance of 4 miles.

Take one step up to the sundeck to let yourselves into this light-filled lodge. Find yourselves in the striking, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with its floor-to-ceiling windows and sleek finish. Gather in here to socialise, relax and make plans for each exciting day of your stay. Recline on the sofas to catch up on your favourite boxset on the Smart TV, share a pot of tea or play a holiday game. The contemporary kitchen area offers bright white cabinets, work surfaces and a breakfast bar, where you can perch on a stool to chat to the chef in your party. As the sun sets over Polzeath, wander through to your immaculate bedrooms. These include two doubles and a super-king-size, with zip-and-link beds that can be made up as twin sets instead by request. One of the double bedrooms has an en-suite shower room, and there is a good-sized family bathroom where you have the option of a bath or a shower.

Spread out on the split-level sundeck to unwind in the sea air. Rinse off under the heated shower after trips to the beach, dine under the stars and linger long as you chat over a bottle of wine on balmy summer nights. There is parking here for two cars.

Beautiful house, really well equipped and super close to the beach and shops. Hot shower outside was amazing after being in the sea on a chilly April day.

I don't normally give 10/10 for a holiday but it was perfect. The property was lovely when we arrived and it was immaculately clean. The hamper was a very welcome bonus. Everything was provided to have a lovely self-catering stay. Three minute walk to the surf.

Trevone was modern, clean, it has a new layout & it's proximity to beach/amenities is great. Lovely comfortable beds, bedding, pillows & linen.

The property was newly advertised and we had stayed in a Modbox property before and we had a lovely stay. The proximity to the beach also was great for my husband and I as we love to surf.

The quality of the house is excellent, and the fixtures and fittings are lovely, and the parking and garden are fine for our needs with 2 dogs, one car and a surfboard. The location is great too.
