Tucked away under the eaves of one of the most historic buildings in Fore Street this modern and stylish two-bedroom penthouse apartment has been thoughtfully designed to combine an eye-catching interior with the original vaulted ceilings and dormer windows. Originally the building was one of the first hotels in St Ives and has recently been redeveloped to create three contemporary holiday homes in the heart of the beautiful and iconic town of St Ives. There is someone for everyone with multiple beaches and the harbour within 800 metres, numerous eateries, boutiques, and bars all close by. Due to the apartment’s central location, it can get busy and noisy at peak times of the year but this all adds to the buzz and atmosphere of being in such a special place and within the centre of it’s activity. There is double glazing throughout but being in the heart of the town does mean a little noise now and then! Tate St Ives and the home of sculptor Barbara Hepworth are just around the corner. Further afield, visit the Minack Theatre (18 miles), or Porthcurno, Land’s End, or St Michael’s Mount, all within 20 miles. The spectacular beaches of St Ives Bay stretches right around as far as Godrevy beach with it’s dramatic Lighthouse and hidden seal cove just around he corner. There are beach cafes along the way to enjoy a coffee and a bite to eat.

After entering the main property from the shared entrance, head up three floors to find this wonderful penthouse apartment, offering an incredibly spacious and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The kitchen is ultra-modern with in-built appliances and an abundance of cupboard and counter space including a small breakfast bar. The lounge and dining area has three lovely dormer windows – each with charming window seats, and a beautiful view, catching sight of the sea and the charming St Ives rooftops. Even more light floods into the kitchen from the large Velux windows. The clean lines and vaulted ceilings enhance the living space, where you can wind down in front of the Smart TV on one of two comfy sofas, or enjoy a meal on the bistro style dining table which provides the perfect space for a sociable evening over a delicious meal. The welcoming double bedroom has a soothing ambience where you can enjoy gorgeous sea views from the comfort of your bed (space around the bottom of the bed is limited so mind your head in the eaves!). The twin bedroom is a light and bright space. Both are stylishly furnished, and benefit from good lighting and plenty of storage. Finally, there is a beautiful and contemporary family shower room.

Although there is no outside space, the beach and all amenities are moments from the doorstep and this is the perfect property to book if you are travelling by train - with easy rail and bus links to explore plenty of other parts of gorgeous West Cornwall.

We were very happy with our accommodation, it was very clean, comfortable, very bright with natural light coming through, location was perfect, was very nice in every way, and we would definitely book this place again. Mr & Mrs Thomas

We had a wonderful 4 day stay in this beautiful rooftop apartment. It is located right at the center of the main shopping street and only a few steps from the beach and harbour. A perfect base to explore beautiful St Ives. The apartment has been recently renovated and feels very modern with lots of natural light and great view. Cleaning was spotlesRead mores and it was very well equipped with everything needed for a short stay. We found parking was easiest on Barnoon Car Park a 3 min walk up the hill. Would love to return to this property! Hide

Great modern loft apartment, vert well fitted out. Perfect for two or 4 people. Central location. Can be a little noisy though.

The apartment was lovely, clean and well equipped. Excellent central location which was perfect for our family with 2 children aged 5 and 7. It looks as thought it had only just been renovated, everything was brand new. The only negatives were the noise and bad WiFi.
