A beautiful detached eighteenth-century farmhouse oozing with character and original features, an ideal bolthole for large or extended families, couples, and friends. Set in seventeen acres of magical woodland and meadow, running alongside the River Fowey and offering inclusive fishing rights to first-class salmon and trout makes this a fantastic place to spend your holiday. Not far from the A30 which allows you to visit a host of beaches nearby including Looe (10 miles) as well as Fowey (14 miles) with its fantastic shops, great cafes, and quirky gift shops. For a fun day out, the Eden project and Adrenaline Quarry are less than 10 miles away and have something for everybody to enjoy.

Step inside through the wonderful solid oak door, custom-made for this wonderful farmhouse, and immediately you are hit with the character and cosiness of this beautiful cottage. The lounge is just so welcoming with its uneven walls, spectacular beams and splendid original inglenook fireplace with a wood burner the perfect spot to curl up on an evening on the comfortable sofas with a hot drink whilst watching all your favourite programmes on the TV. Next door is the large sociable kitchen/diner which is fully equipped and offers a great sociable space to entertain with its large dining table and chairs. You also have access to the rear patio from here via a stable-type door. Moving back out to where you started is a ground floor bedroom with a king-size bed, feature inglenook fireplace, lots of light and storage, and an accessible bathroom across the small hallway. There are stairs leading up to a very sweet single bedroom with a trundle bed, perfect for a child not wanting to be too far from mum or dad. Upstairs are two further bedrooms a king-size and a twin both of a good size, offering a wonderfully relaxing feel with plenty of natural light from the south-facing windows. Completing this floor is the large family bathroom.

Outside to the front of the cottage is a real sun trap. There are benches that offer a great spot for watching the birds or listening to the sound of the river. There’s also garden furniture and a BBQ for dining outside on a summer evening.
