Bwncath Glamping Lodge sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms; a double room, a twin room and a double cabin bed (accessed by 4 ladder steps). Ideal for a family holiday, with a cosy sitting area, a wood burning stove and plenty of games and books. The kitchen is equipped with a gas hob, microwave, fridge with a freezer compartment, kettle and toaster. There is an adjacent ‘Pitch Pod’ shower room, with a shower, a flushing toilet and basin. Outside, there’s a great fire pit with a barbecue grill and tucked away, beside the lodge is a private, wood-fired hot tub.
Take a stroll to nearby Gilestone Pond and enjoy spotting an abundance of wildlife in the surrounding farmland including pheasants, buzzards, red kites and herons. Take a tour of the farm with the owner and learn about the conservation and community initiatives in place both on the farm and in the local village, Talybont-on-Usk.
Talybont-on-Usk is close by and boasts a canal, 2 rivers, a reservoir, hills, woods, waterfalls, wildlife, local arts and crafts, a village shop and wi-fi cafe, 3 pubs and a restaurant. There are some beautiful walks from Gilestone and Talybont; something to suit all levels from a gentle stroll to an epic hike. There's plenty of visitor attractions close by, including Cantref Adventure Farm, the Play Barn at Brynich, The Red Kite Feeding Centre, the Brecon Mountain Railway and the spectacular National Showcaves at Dan yr Ogof.
