Spacious and full of character 'The Old Bakery flat' is reverse level and set on the first and second floors of the property with superb views of the town and harbour.

The stairs from the entrance hall lead up to the three spacious bedrooms. Two have 4ft 6in beds and the third has 2 x 3ft singles with a TV. The two double bedrooms both have their own en suites and there is also a family shower room. The second flight of stairs takes you to the beautiful, light and airy lounge/kitchen/diner with TV, electric oven, ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine and microwave. The dual aspect room has Bifolding doors that open out giving a real feel of the 'outside in' and magnificent views of the harbour, town and Island. Westcotts Quay and the sea can be seen from the other aspect.

A beautiful place to stay, with lovely views over town out to sea, the high standard of cleanliness and quality of furniture and linen very good. Accommodation very spacious for family holidays and little welcome extras so thoughtful, would return without doubt the best we have stayed in St Ives in 42 years.

The Old Bakery Flat is a beautiful space and the owners have gone to great lengths to decorate it with interesting paintings, pieces of art and stained glass, however we felt that flat was rather 'style over substance'. For example, whilst there are a series of 5 huge stoneware jars under the TV, there's no tea pot. There are lovely things to look Read moreat, but it is lacking in the essentials that would have improved our stay: no little bowls to put nuts or crisps in, no trays, no boards for cheese... no dishwasher, etc and yet there are 11 egg cups! Why 11 when the flat only sleeps 6? Elements of the flat were delightful, like the spacious sofa under the glass roof, which allows you to bask in the sun and enjoy the views across the roof tops of St Ives, but again, other elements were sadly lacking. We have a king-size bed at home, so this meant the double beds felt very small. There's room in the master bedroom for a king-size bed, and I think most people expect this now. The bath towels feel old and thin, and in my house would be used as hand towels! They're too small - bath sheets would be nice. Hide

Beautiful building, gorgeous views and light and airy. The bifold doors were great. The decor/ paintings/ glassware/ ornaments set the whole place off. Comfy beds and good sized en- suites. An amazing find with stunning views of the town and harbour. We loved the upstairs space and quality of furniture etc. The bifold door made up for lack of outdoor space. Comfortable and roomy for the five of us. A central location but quiet.

This is a gorgeous apartment & beautifully kept. We love the views from the big window over the rooftops to the harbour. The apartment has everything you need & is situated in the heart of St. Ives but is never noisy. Its light & bright & altogether lovely.

The flat is wonderful, it is a real haven, both incredibly stylish and comfortable, and so well located in the centre of town. The bi fold windows really made the open plan space extra special, the location and set up of the flat really worked with our teenage children, giving everyone space and easy access into St Ives. We booked in November with friends & again in February for my partners birthday- 2 en-suites gives that extra space - you dont feel like youre living on top of each other. Living room/kitchen/diner all open plan with magnificent views. Bifold windows on one side brings the outside in. Spectacular!!

Very spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated apartment. Short 5 minute walk to Harbour and Porthminster Beach. Views from lounge & kitchen/diner absolutely stunning - such a light apartment whatever the weather (we visited in February). There are a couple of flights of stairs to navigate from the entrance to the top floor so something to beRead morear in mind if mobility an issue. Wouldnt hesitate to book again. Hide

We were recommended by our daughter who had stayed in it twice before and we were not disappointed. The flat was in a excellent position for beaches and shops , it was a alround excellent stay in st Ives for the week

Beautiful property with everything needed for a very comfortable stay, with added luxury feel from fittings and art works. Excellent view from kitchen out of the bifold windows and all in the heart of the town, yet peaceful in the evenings.
