Cottages in West Cornwall

Wild, rugged, windswept and romantic; that’s the stunning untamed landscape of West Cornwall. This ancient land full of history and nature has so much to offer the modern holiday maker.

We have stunning cottages offering accommodation for couples, families and groups of friends. Apartments with sea views, traditional fisherman’s cottages near the harbour or detached houses with gardens, ideal for bigger groups and families.

From the Lizard Peninsula, the most south-westerly point of the British mainland to St Ives and Falmouth, the West of Cornwall has beaches galore from sandy coves with rock pools to swathes of sand ideal for swimming and surfing, as well as dog-friendly beaches, some which are just wet and wild. The coastline is dotted with unspoilt villages with winding streets offering cafes, restaurants and quaint shops. Whilst fishing harbours and the squawk of gulls are your constant backdrops to your stay in West Cornwall. Don’t forget you can also take a boat trip to the Isles of Scilly, for a real adventure.

Cornwall has always been a mecca for artists and creative types, especially St Ives which now has the Tate St Ives gallery plus various local artists in residence. A visit to West Cornwall is not complete without a live theatre production at the cliff-side Minack Theatre, where the views over the ocean compete with stellar performances.

If it’s history you’re after, walk across the causeway to St Michael's Mount or visit Geevor tin mine to experience life underground. There are, of course, plenty of paths for bracing walks along the cliff tops, so don’t forget your binoculars to get a close-up look at the seabirds.

West Cornwall really does have something to offer everyone, so if we’ve whetted your appetite for life on the wild west side, give our local team a call on 0333 2020899.
