Designed with luxurious and artistic touches across its three floors, this spacious cottage is tucked down a quiet lane and perfect for a solo escape or couple’s getaway. It’s set in the heart of bustling St Ives, a former fishing village turned vibrant town with a great choice of boutiques, cafes, restaurants and bars. Visit Tate St Ives and the tranquil Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden; try a pasty or some fish and chips or book a boat trip and have a go at fishing or spotting dolphins. Of course, the town’s main attraction is it's array of beaches: five stretches of golden sand await, offering options from surfing to water sports and even horse riding in the waves. For change of scene, head to St Michael’s Mount (reached from the beach in Marazion via a little boat, or a causeway at low tide), 9 miles, or Land’s End, 18 miles, mainland Britain’s most south-westerly point. Just a few miles in the car or even a lovely walk along the South West Coast path are the glorious wide beaches of St Ives Bay, including Hayle beach, which was voted the UK's best beach in 2024.

Stroll through the town’s quaint pedestrian streets to find your front door, tucked just off the wharf and Harbour Beach. You’ll step straight into the open-plan kitchen/diner, decorated in neutral tones, with a painted-wood floor, ornamental brick fireplace and beamed ceiling. The handsome kitchen area includes an island with a ceramic sink, integrated cooler drawer/fridge and stone worktop as well as a pod coffee machine and a small chest freezer. There’s a large, farmhouse-style dining table with bench seating, where you can enjoy cooked breakfasts and delicious dinners. On the first floor you’ll find an inner hallway with a small office area, handy for catching up with emails and admin and a wonderful artistic king-size bedroom. This delightful room has a beamed ceiling, ample storage, a huge mirror and a pretty chandelier – an enticing space for restful nights and lazy mornings. Another quirky benefit is the bedroom’s compact but well-appointed en-suite shower. Also on this level is the beautifully fitted-out bathroom, with a small bath and WC, ideal for a soak after a busy day. Take the stairs to the second floor and you’ll find the spacious lounge tucked into the eaves, which offers plenty of comfortable seating and a large Smart TV.

This cottage has no dedicated outside space, but is just moments from all the amenities of the town, including five beaches and a beautiful public garden where you can relax on the benches in the shade of the trees. Parking is in the surrounding public car parks – there are plenty in town and we recommend pre-booking a space during the summer months.

Excellent,very comfortable for a couple,brilliant location. Really liked the upstairs lounge and smart tv. Very stylish,traditional with a contemporary twist.
