Stay at one of our Aberdaron cottages

Get away from it all on the wild and remote Llyn Peninsula in one of our fantastic, self-catering holiday cottages in Aberdaron. Surrounded by the stunning coastal scenery of North Wales, it’s the perfect place for friends, families, and couples to fully switch off and embrace nature. Keen walkers will be in their element, with the Wales Coast Path passing through the village, and water sports enthusiasts can enjoy activities such as surfing, kayaking, and paddleboarding. Aberdaron has a long, sandy beach overlooking Cardigan Bay and nearby attractions include the National Trust’s Plas yn Rhiw and Harlech Castle.

Aberdaron is a traditional Welsh fishing village, and you’ll find a good range of local eateries, many serving fresh seafood. Every summer, the village comes to life for the annual sailing regatta. For a day on the water, join one of the popular boat trips or sea safaris from nearby Porth Meudwy. From Aberdaron it’s easy to visit the beach at Traeth Porthor, famous for its ‘whistling sands’, or the surfing hotspot of Porth Neigwl (also known as Hell’s Mouth). You’ll find further shops and eateries in the seaside resort of Abersoch or the harbour town of Nefyn. Aberdaron is also within touring distance of the mountainous landscape of Eryri National Park (Snowdonia). Browse our full list of Aberdaron holiday homes and accommodation.
