Gwel Enlli is a newly renovated cottage on the westernmost point of Llyn Peninsula, near Uwchmynydd, the amazing viewing points of Mynydd Mawr, Wales Coast Path and Porth Meudwy - the departure point for boat trips to Bardsey Island. Walking distance to a seasonal cafe, whilst the picturesque village of Aberdaron is just 1.5 miles with its sandy beach, cafes, pub restaurants and thatched roof bakery.

Just has a few days at Gwel Enlli,had the best time the cottage is Beautiful, very well equipped, warm and cosy we loved the picture windows having coffees watching the sun rise was amazing, the views are stunning and only a couple of miles from a very pretty village of Aberdaron with a lovely beach. The Best Bakery and great pub food and fab cafesRead more. Already booked our returns cannot wait. The owners were there to meet us and show us round which was so nice and were very helpful on information on local places to visit. Hide

This property is excellent, it is very clean and well maintained. Fantastic views and location. Owners, Mr and Mrs Jones were very friendly. We would highly recommend to people that respect the rural outdoors.

Lovely modern well equipped and very clean cottage ideally located for Aberdaron and the surrounding areas, simply stunning 360 degree views of the Peninsula. Very large garden area ideal for dogs but would suggest taking a long lead because it is not completely fenced in. Difficult to find any fault with the cottage apart from one slight negative Read morewhich is the early check out time of 9.30am. The location of the cottage is breathtaking, loved the fact that you can sit and look at the sunning views. The kitchen was very well equipped. Beds were comfortable. The kids loved the outdoor space as well as the sheep in the next field. Cottage is close to lots of walks and the beach is a short drive away. We would recommend Whistling Sands beacRead moreh, it was absolutely beautiful. Aberdaren is a lovely place with local conveniences and a beach. Well worth a stay on this wonderful place. Hide

We booked this break for some much needed down time and it turned out to be perfect for just that. The accommodation itself was faultless. Very clean & tidy and had everything you would need and more. The kitchen was probably the best equipped in any of the places we have stayed. The location was perfect for us. A 5 min drive to the little village Read moreof Aberdaron where there are a few shops, cafes, pubs and a fish and chip shop/restaurant, along with the beautiful beach. We walked there which took about 35 mins and is a bit hilly but it's a nice walk. The views from the property are stunning and we saw some beautiful sunsets. It was perfect for taking the dog as he could just roam around the garden getting to know the neighbours (the sheep in the next field). If you want a walking holiday there are lots of walks to do here.The owners are very friendly and helpful and were on hand up the road at their farmhouse if we needed them. Clean and spacious plenty of room for the two of us and our large dog. The garden is not fully enclosed so dogs need to be supervised at all times. Fully equipped with everything we needed. There is a great cafe 6 min walk past the accommodation....highly recommend the breakfast. Very narrow lanes leading to the property. One of the nicest places we have visited. Cottage is modern and scrupulously clean, very well looked after. The surrounding beaches are amazing and the views outside the cottage truly amazing. I would recommend this to anyone, the large garden area was a bonus for our cockapoo and he made friends with the sheep which were behind the fence. Very helpful & friendly owners. The cottage was spotless & fully equipped with all amenities. It is situated on a narrow road leading up a hill out of Aberdaron & the views, with the sea on 3 sides, is spectacular.

Beautiful setting with stunning coastal walks. The pony behind the fence was a bonus for my daughters. About a half hour walk into Aberdaron where there is a small beach where dogs are allowed. The pictures make it seem that the sea is very close but if you want to spend a day on the beach you do need to drive.
