Pet-friendly and perfect for families and friends, it offers a great base to enjoy a coastal break and discover the countryside. Experience the famous Abersoch main beach (1 mile) with its sandy shores, beach huts and beautiful views, where you can relax or have a go at paddle boarding, kayaking or enjoy the lively village shops, boutiques, pubs and restaurants. For enthusiastic surfers, why not head 2 miles to Porth Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth Beach) or head to Llanbedrog beach (3 miles) for more sheltered waters. There are incredible walks right at your doorstep, explore Llangian and Llanengan or head up to Mynetho Melin Foel (Jampot hill) overlooking Mynytho all within a 2-mile radius.

Follow the path to the front door and step inside this beautiful cottage. Built sometime before the 1840s, the original part of the house has lots of character with a thick stone wall and a cosy seating area with a vaulted ceiling and comfortable sofas set around a wood burner and Smart TV. Head to the contemporary and spacious kitchen and enjoy the idyllic rural views while cooking. The dining area opens to a glass balcony being the perfect spot to drink your morning coffee looking at the scenic views. From the kitchen head down to the ground floor of this quirky reverse-level cottage and you will find three bedrooms. The first bedroom is a double with an en-suite shower and plenty of storage as well as a twin room and the family room with a double and single bed. Completing the accommodation is a beautiful family bathroom.

Outside, Very large enclosed garden adjoining farmland. Admire the breath-taking views of Bardsey island and the dramatic expanse of Hells Mouth from the balcony. The patio area has garden furniture and a BBQ so enjoy dining alfresco.

Reviews

We loved our stay and found the cottage to be really comfy and well equipped. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful view from the terrace and found Abersoch to be just right for a relaxing holiday by the sea. Stunning coastline and within easy reach of other places of interest including the golf club in Nefyn and Beaumaris on the Isle of Anglesey.

Mrs B,

The cottage is amazing and the outside area and field we loved. Downstairs was quite chilly in that it felt damp (I don’t think it is just being built in a wall ) and the heating was not very easy to work out . When we did and just put on for a short time it made a massive difference . We loved the place overall

Mrs W,

Comfortable, well equipped, cosy cottage in a fantastic location x We loved the enclosed garden, really useful with a dog, the enclosed field next door, the location and the gorgeous outdoor patio Loved our stay here and would definitely book again!

Mrs M,

Lovely cottage not too far from Abersoch. Well equipped. Lovely views from balcony. We would stay again and hopefully bring friends or family. Great that it allows dogs.

Mr T,

Absolutely fantastic place to get away from it all. Far enough out of town to be really quiet, yet close enough so that popping to the shops and restaurants is really easy.

Mr D,

The owner was very helpful when we needed to find out a few things and we had a very enjoyable week in Abersoch, you do need a car to get around, I’d say it’s an easy 20 minute walk going into Abersoch and a bit hilly walking on the return back, good exercise though. We visited lots of lovely beaches within 60 minutes drive. Hells Mouth beach is a 5 minute drive away and a lovely beach to walk the dog.

Mrs L,

A deceptively spacious and beautifully located cottage. On arrival the cottage looks small as you park outside, but once you enter and walk through the full size of the property becomes evident. The bedrooms and bathrooms are all downstairs with the cottage being built into the hillside. This provides for some great cottage features. Our undoubted highlight was the patio leading out from the kitchen with clear glass wall surrounds. The views over the countryside and coast beyond were stunning - Bardsey just visible! With comfortable outdoor seating (cushions in outside storage box) and pleasant sunshine, we spent a lot of time relaxing there! Walking up from the patio there is a large area of cut grass (a narrow field almost), completely fenced and dog safe. A perfect place to let the dogs run or to stroll and admire the views. The stairs leading down to the bedrooms are rather steep and might not be suitable for some, although a bolted gate is at the top for safety. The bedrooms were very well presented with excellent bathroom and en-suite. The lounge was very comfortable with four two-three seater sofas and a luxury dog bed! The kitchen was very well equipped with ability to open out the doors onto the patio. Although it was tempting to just stay at the cottage, the Llyn Peninsula is a lovely area to explore with several areas of National Trust protected coastline and wonderful walks. Abersoch, just a 5 minute drive away, is a lovely coastal town with several nice places to eat, including great fish and chips! Overall a delightful property and I would certainly be happy to stay again.

Mr O,
