Description

Get back to nature with a stay in this rural cabin, an idyllic bolthole surrounded by verdant fields and close to the coast (12 miles). Suitable for two guests seeking a romantic walking or bike riding break in the Mid Wales countryside, you’ll find everything you need here to welcome you home after a long day filled with rewarding exploits. Surrounded by ample walking opportunities, find the Elan Valley (20 miles) and the southern edge of the Snowdonia National Park (20.5 miles) just a short drive away, or simply step out of your front door and on to the pretty villages and natural walking trails that lay in the Cambrian Hills around you.

Although it features a charming blend of rustic and contemporary design elements, the comfort of this beautifully appointed space is truly remarkable. You’ll be delighted to discover that it is fully equipped with all the amenities you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Enjoy a cwtch in the cosy lounge/kitchen/diner, a dynamically combined space that’s made for sociable mornings and evenings. A loveseat sits before a floor-to-ceiling window, a perfect place to sit and relax and open a bottle of wine and chat about holidays passed. Wander outside to the enclosed decking area which offers a perfect spot to enjoy the surrounding tranquillity and views as you sip your morning coffee, or glass of wine after a day exploring the area. Beyond the patio with seating area and BBQ, a small paddock stretches out, adding a touch of rustic charm to the scene. Back indoors, a double bedroom and an en-suite shower room complete the cottage’s offering.

A world-famous local attraction, Devil’s Bridge Falls, is just 0.5 miles from home, offering fantastic nature trails with views of waterfalls and gorges along the way. Similarly beautiful, the Bwlch Nant yr Arian Forest (6 miles) is home to plenty of waymarked pathways, mountain biking trails and rare red kites that circle the skies up above. For access to the coastal path, fabulous beaches and so many other seaside attractions, visit Aberystwyth. A fantastic way to get here is to board the Vale of Rheidol steam train from Devil’s Bridge and see the sights as you go.

Mr C,

We had a lovely stay in Bluebell cabin, great for walks and an excellent location for my fishing on the Llyns (Welsh mountain lakes) my day permits booked through the Fishing Passport web site. Lovely holiday

Mr S,

We stopped here recently with our 2 dogs. It was beautiful and we felt so at home. Having no TV was really lovely and peaceful. The cabin was so clean and the view is just gorgeous. The owner was very accommodating and so responsive. Our dogs were left a ball and even dog towels were provided. The bed is really comfy and it has everything you need in the cabin, it even has a selection of books and games. The location is perfect. Highly recommend and would definitely return,

Miss H,

Perfect stay for a couple and a dog wanting to explore wales. Nice and secluded so it’s peaceful. Easy to find and the directions provided were helpful. Location was perfect - plenty of hikes from your doorstep and drivable to other parts.

Miss P,

What a fantastic place. So clean everything you need there. So nice not having a TV just a fantastic get away. Amazing views. The dogs really enjoyed the enclosed garden and sunbathing by big French door. Oh incredible power shower and comfortable bed. What more can you ask for. Highly recommended.

Mr G,

Cabin stay was excellent. The glass doors allow you to you to feel outside when inside. Lots of natural light. Also can sit out on the deck. Very well equipped. Comfy bed. Good WiFi but no TV (which is not a problem, just look out the window or stream to your device). Excellent location in Devils Bridge. 5 minutes wall to Vale of Rheidol railway station, Two Hoots Cafe. Hafod Hotel and Waterfalls. Owner very helpful and friendly. I was on foot and they bought groceries for me to continue my walk which was very kind.

Mr H,

A real gem, peaceful, private and just spectacular scenery. Warm, friendly and hospitable owners. The cabin is well equipped with everything you need for a self catering holiday. Already cannot wait to return.
