Description

This beautiful retreat is ideal for a large family or group of friends to enjoy a relaxing holiday in the Welsh countryside. Explore the iconic Elan Valley, where you can traverse rugged landscapes, admire hand built reservoirs and test out the 80 miles of designated walking routes. It's also an international Dark Sky Park for those who love stargazing. Take it easy with a mooch around the historic market town of Rhayader (5 miles), where you can pick up slabs of Bara brith or pop into one of the cafes, pubs and restaurants for a bite to eat. Avid birdwatchers can get their fill with the Gilfach Nature Reserve (3.5 miles), while the Red Kite Feeding Centre is a mere 5.5 miles away. Visit Llanidloes the source of river seven and Hafren Forest which has a range of waterfall walks. The Victorian spa town of Llandrindod Wells (15 miles) boasts a golf club, a Heritage Trail and its namesake spa facilities.

Step into the welcoming hallway and unlace your walking boots. To your right, you’ll find a bright and airy kitchen, perfect for preparing your favourite group meals. This contemporary space, complete with a breakfast bar and all the necessary equipment, is a joy to cook in. Adjacent to the kitchen is a dining table that comfortably seats ten, ideal for continuing the festivities as you open the bi-folding doors to let the outside in. The charming seating area features plush sofas and a Smart TV for everyone’s enjoyment. Back in the hallway, a cosy snug room awaits, complete with a wood burner, a Smart TV, and French doors leading out to the garden. The downstairs is completed by a convenient WC. At bedtime, head upstairs to the first floor, where you’ll find a master bedroom with a fitted wardrobe, a TV, and a king zip-and-link bed. The family bathroom on this floor boasts both a separate shower and a bath. On the second floor, discover a utility room with a terrace for drying clothes, and a double room with an en-suite shower room down the hall. Climb to the third floor to find a double bedroom with a TV, a king zip-and-link bedroom, and another family shower room.

The home’s outdoor area is impressive and likely to be the social hub on fine days. Enjoy making pizzas in the pizza oven and dining beside the babbling river (please note, this area is not fenced). Additionally, there's a BBQ available for those lovely outdoor gatherings, making it the perfect spot for a day of fun, food, and relaxation. The large lawn is a haven for kids and dogs, with a football goal, basket ball hoop stand and table tennis table at the centre of every championship. Start your mornings with a special coffee from the machine or stargaze while relaxing on the patio furniture. Parking is convenient for all members of the group, with off-road spaces for four cars.
