Description

One of three beautifully converted barns in a secluded and tranquil countryside setting.  This property has been very well equipped and thoughtfully furnished to provide comfortable relaxed accommodation for 4 people.  The surrounding area offers a fantastic choice of places to visit and explore, from the romantic ruins of Bodiam Castle with its turrets and moat, to the typically Kentish market town of Tenterden with its elegant tree-lined High Street and iconic weather boarded cottages. Closer to home is the stunning medieval town of Rye with cobbled streets and artisan shops.  If you prefer being active, hire a boat at Newenden and paddle down the river Rother then take a well earned lunch at the excellent Bodiam boat station cafe. Head for the coast and you can enjoy some surfing at Camber Sands or beachcombing on Winchelsea Beach. Alternatively just relax, sit on the patio and enjoy the beautiful unspoilt views from your cottage, across the open countryside. This property can be booked in conjunction with Medlars RH1155 and Reynards RH1154 to sleep 14.  Please view Escheatlands RH1157     Shop: 3      Pub:  1.4         Coast:  9.2

Quiet location but many places to visit nearby, particularly Nat. Trust houses and gardens. Quaint Rye and sea side venues.
