Our stay at Harbour Cottage was an absolutely smashing and memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a sense of calm and a proper cosy atmosphere. We particularly enjoyed being so close to the harbour and being able to potter about the old streets. The host was ever so kind and helpful and was always on hand if we needed anything during our stay. Without a doubt, we'd recommend Harbour Cottage to anyone after a peaceful and delightful getaway in Rye. We're already looking forward to our next trip to this lovely cottage! Hide

The cottage was perfect for us. It's a lovely, charming place, in a great, quiet little path in town, and it has a great view. Lovely old cottage in a wonderful location. Not large, but clean and well equipped, with a very friendly and responsive owner. And located on a footpath, so no cars (though that also means a 50m carry for luggage). Highly recommended

The property was exactly what we were expecting. The only downsides were nowhere to freeze ice blocks and having to park 10 minutes walk away (which we were aware of). Middling scores for Original Cottages are simply because there are many similar booking companies and location is more important than who we book with!
