La Villa is a unique 4 bedroomed property with indoor heated pool, situated down a private lane in the village of Ovingdean, just a short drive from the vibrant city of Brighton and Hove, yet also close to the beautiful South Downs National Park with its country walks, cycle rides and pubs.

Accessed via a gravel driveway, the property is spacious and stylishly decorated. The main hub of the house is the large modern kitchen/dining room which overlooks a decked terrace from large sliding doors. The terrace has an outside seating/dining area and two rattan style sun loungers to relax on. The swimming pool annex can be accessed from either the terrace or the interior hallway. Perfect for a family holiday or a gathering of friends, La Villa is the ultimate holiday villa on the south coast. Coast: 1.4 miles, Shop: 1.4 miles, Pub: 1.4 miles, Train Station: 4.4 miles.

We love this property because... It's a unique and spacious house, close to the sea and the South Downs with an indoor heated pool

Kitchen/Diner Modern kitchen with white units and granite worktops, double range cooker with 6 ring hob, integrated dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster. Separate utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board etc. Dining table with 8 chairs, wall mounted TV, sideboard and wine rack. 

Leading to... Decked terrace with outdoor table and 6 chairs, 1 teak bench and 2 rattan effect sun loungers.

Behind the dining area is: Bedroom 4 with twin single beds, mirrored fitted wardrobes, 1 bedroom chair, 2 side tables with lamps. En suite shower room.

Stairs from kitchen lead up to large landing area with library book shelves and occasional chair, living room with two 3 seater settees, one leather 2 seater settee, 1 coffee table, 2 armchairs, TV and speaker, 2 armchairs, footstool,  side tables with lamps.

The reason for this holiday was to celebrate my very ancient birthday. We were a party of adults who were impressed with the splendid amenities and the more than adequate space for 8 grown ups to wander about. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and whilst the pool was top of the list it was closely followed by splendid competitions on the pool/snooker table....memories of long past years! The location of the house was wonderful, and within a stone's throw of some wonderful walks for the more fitter of the party. There is so much to see and do around this area. Lastly, like previous reviewers have stated - a BIG thanks to Tracie who was an extremely helpful and attentive person during our stay.
