Southwold Pier Area - It is often said that nothing changes in Southwold. However, the much-acclaimed pier was rebuilt in 2001 and was the first to be constructed in England in over 50 years. It now fits in well with the painted beach huts, promenade and colourful flowerbeds. There is a shop, cafes and an alternative amusement arcade there. The selection of properties hereabouts makes it an ideal location to stay in Southwold if you require quiet accommodation that is also close to the beach, town centre and the many footpaths across the marshes leading you to the less explored areas of the town.

Reviews

This property is really delightful, very comfortable and well equipped, and in a great location. The large enclosed courtyard garden was lovely, we managed to use it even in March due to the bonus of the amazingly good weather we had. We have had many holidays in Southwold and would love to return to this property, very happy to recommend.

Mrs R,

This house is fantastic, the standard is very high. We had a lovely time and having 3 bathrooms was a plus with us adults! The location is great and we can't recommend it enough

Mrs M,

Perfectly located in the heart of Southwold, seconds from the nearest pub, minutes to the beach and shops. The house is well furnished and was very warm and comfortable during our January stay. It’s one of the few properties with 3 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms making it perfect for friends or extended families. We hope to return.

Mr W,

We stayed as three couples, this was the perfect home in terms of layout and space for us. The location was perfect, close to the town and the seafront but out of the way too. We had dreadful weather during our weekend but were cosy, warm and very happy to spend time relaxing in the house. We would love to stay again and would absolutely recommend it.

Mrs R,

Beautiful cottage. Very well equipped. Excellent location.

Mr L,

Room With A View didn’t disappoint. We stayed for a long weekend with our two sons and their partners and found the house a delight. The house was very warm and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen with everything that you would need for a wonderful stay.Lovely king size beds in the three spacious bedrooms and three great bathrooms. The house was in a great location right in the middle of Southwold with all amenities and seafront just a short distance away. Will look forward to hopefully staying again in the future.

Mr W,

We had a lovely stay at this house. It is a real home from home and ideally situated for walks along the beach and to explore the lovely town of Southwold. The view of the beautiful lighthouse is the reason we booked and it didn't disappoint. We would recommend the house to anyone with a larger family group, there were only 3 of us in the end so the cost was a little high to justify us returning as a 3, but we couldn't fault the house or it's position.

Mrs R,

Excellent accommodation, all showers excellent

Mrs S,

Perfect location for beach, shops and pub. Very comfortable house and worked well for four adults and twin 4 year olds. Bonus of a garage for one car.

Mr W,

Great location, well equipped house with fantastic views of the lighthouse and out to sea from some rooms. Off road parking in Southwold is a big bonus with a decent size garage. Courtyard garden is lovely with some nice planting and garden furniture. I have stayed in Southwold many times over the years and I can honestly say that this is the best accommodation so far. I would not hesitate to book again.

Mr M,

Lovely, comfortable, well-equipped, and comfortable place in a great location. The Sole Bay Inn is just around the corner, and the seafront is just a few yards more than that. Many thanks.

Mr S,

A wonderful property that is a home rather than the usual bland rental. Well kitted out, spacious and in a perfect location with benefit of garage parking. Our Toyota Auris (mid size car) fitted in easily.
