Cottages in Shoreham-by-Sea

Shoreham-by-Sea or 'Olde Shoreham' can be found by the River Adur, south of the South Downs National Landscape, and on the Sussex coastline. As a result this is a beautiful area to book a holiday property. You'll enjoy stunning scenery, 3 miles of beach, idyllic countryside, as well as having shops and amenities close by.

Shoreham Beach is worth visiting if you are in the area. This shingle and sand beach is ideal for coastal walking, or finding a nice spot to sit and take in in the scenery. Whilst at the beach you may wish to explore Shoreham Fort. Built in the 1850's the Fort is now somewhere that visitors can enjoy the view.

Head North away from Shoreham-by-sea and the coast and you'll find the South Down AONB. With plenty of walks in the area you'll be able to explore this stunning part of Sussex. The South Downs are perfect for picnics, family strolls, and dog walking.

A holiday in Shoreham-by-sea will give you the best of both a country and city break. An easy drive from Worthing, and Brighton and Hove you'll be able to enjoy shopping, dining, and sightseeing.
