This property is outstanding, close to the beach and is very well equipped. The only downside is that it is on a very busy road. It is well placed for visiting many places such as Worthing. Shoreham by sea and Brighton. It is definitely somewhere we would visit again.

It was a perfect homely retreat and we would absolutely rebook and recommend. Myself, my husband and our 2 sons (3 and 7) stayed for a week as we'd booked The Big Church Festival weekend and wanted a comfy base (we don't enjoy camping at all and we were also celebrating my 40th so we wanted something a little bit special) The Beach Hideaway wasRead more a dream. It was immaculately clean and very well equipped. I love to cook and we made full use of the kitchen facilities after having our food shop delivered when we arrived. The open plan, indoor outdoor style living space was wonderful. The boys were outside playing all the time and we loved the hot tub which was also very clean. It was actually great to see the hot tub cleaning guy arrive when we were checking out as it just proved how well the host keeps on top of cleaning and maintenance. I made use of the sauna each day and it was the icing on the cake to a relaxing stay. I even managed to wash and dry all our clothes prior to coming home which was a bonus. It was so close to the beach and we caught a few beautiful sunsets and collected some rocks and shells to take home. It was a pretty peaceful area of beach. The location was perfect for us and we ventured out daily to various local areas. I did read some reviews prior to our stay about the noise of the road traffic and the cameras at the owners house overlooking the property however, for us the noise was minimal (we live on a fairly busy road ourselves) and the camera really didn't bother us at all. We were aware of it but we didn't feel it was really intrusive. We actually had the pleasure of meeting the owner briefly and he seemed very pleasant. If you're looking for a slice of luxury close to the beach then this is a must book. Me and my husband said on our way home that it was one of very few breaks where we came away feeling refreshed and relaxed. Thank you for such a lovely stay Hide

The cottage is beautifully presented and has been equiped to an exceptionally high standard. Every small detail has been thought of and it was like a home from home. The beach was easily accessed and just a few steps away. A lovely pebble beach and access to the coastal path walk. The sauna and hot tub are immaculate and well worth making use of.Read more There are a few things to note though: 1. The ring doorbell and CCTV on the owner's home which appeared to be pointing directly onto the cottage felt intrusive. 2. The cottage is on a busy main road and very noisy at night which may be an issue for light sleepers. 3. Dogs are welcome and there was a lovely 'doggy welcome pack'. However, the 'rules for dogs' are very strict (not a problem) but you need to consider whether your dog will manage them. It is open plan with only a small, portable barrier on the bottom stair to stop them from going upatairs and you would have to be sure they wouldn't sneak onto the sofa whilst you were asleep as there is nowhere to put a dog separately from the sofas. All in all though a lovely stay. Hide
