Cottages in Sevenoaks

Sevenoaks is a delightful market town situated in the Weald. The Weald is a lovely area in the southeast which falls between the North Downs and South Downs. It stretches through Kent and Sussex, as well as other southeast counties including Hampshire and Surrey. Once ancient forest land, the Weald is now a beautiful landscape of rolling green countryside.

Sevenoaks is surrounded by picturesque countryside, perfect for people looking for a break from the hustle and bustle. There are lots of popular walks to enjoy with plenty of flora and fauna to keep wildlife enthusiasts content. The town itself has held a regular market since the 13th century. The Saturday market allows people staying in our properties to stock up their holiday store cupboard with fresh local produce.

Close to Sevenoaks is the Greater London town of Orpington, and even closer is the impressive Knole House, a National Trust-owned stately home which still has its family heirs in residence. Knole House is an unusually large home which overlooks the beautiful Weald countryside and is certainly worth a visit; explore the many grand stairwells, 12 entrances, seemingly endless rooms, and even more stories to tell of its history.
