Close to Dove Dale, there is the lovely town of Ashbourne with pubs, restaurants, designer clothes shops and antique emporiums.
Set in the glorious Derbyshire Dales on the edge of the Peak District National Park, explore Matlock Bath with its cable cars and riverside prom and nearby Cromford Mill and Canal.
