We have stayed at Hethpool Mill several times and have always found it to be very comfortable and clean. It is in a quiet secluded location, a great spot for wildlife and walks from the door. We would recommend it for a relaxing holiday.

Mrs F,

Absolutely love College Valley and the cottages for hire there. It's becoming my favourite place to visit. Excellent service from all, a lovely property and fantastic location. Will certainly be back - thank you!

Mr F,

The property was spotless, well equipped and toasty warm! We know the area well so knew it is in a wonderful location. A weeks great hiking during the day and nights spent in front of the log burner, dram in hand listening to the owls hooting. See you next year! Oh, and did I mention we saw the Northern Lights?

Mr K,

We have stayed at Hethpool Mill several times before, it's location is unique and the house is the most comfortable, clean and relaxing place to be. We love it so much that we have already booked another two stays for 2022.

Mrs F,

We have stayed at Hethpool Mill on several occasions and it has become our Northumbrian home from home. The property is always superbly equipped, spotlessly clean and beautifully presented. The beds are extremely comfortable and I really can't find fault.

Mrs W,

We had a wonderful holiday in and around the College Valley. We were able to walk in many directions from this property in Hethpool, exploring the very beautiful surrounding hills. We rate the quality of this property as 10 out of 10 and a Gold Star

Mr H,

We came looking for peace and tranquillity and certainly found it in an all too short stay. Lets hope the next time is longer. Thank you.

As usual, so welcoming when we arrived (thanks to all concerned). Saw wild goats, adders, slowworms, curlews, heard cuckoo, larks, lapwings, deer. Bees providing constant background hum. So good to listen to the soundscape.
