The Barns is a stunning accommodation set in a beautiful, rural location with amazing views. Extremely well equipped with everything you need, a true home from home! The beds are clean and comfortable, the rooms are spacious with lovely decor and ambient lighting for cosy nights in. We stayed with elderly parents so the level flooring of this prRead moreoperty is ideal for those with walking difficulties. We visited Lindesfarne, Seahouses and Beadnell which are all a short drive away and enjoyed a lovely Sunday Lunch at the Craster Arms at Beadnell. Whilst we understand the vacation time at the property is 10am this is a little bit early for us having elderly and disabled parents with us however, this would not prevent us from staying at the property again. Thank you to the owners of this wonderful holiday home! Hide

Fabulous cottage for our big family and two dogs. Really spacious and comfy, easy access to the A1 but still tranquil and with beautiful views. We really enjoyed our stay.

A top quality Cottage which offers a real wow factor. In addition, the location offers wonderful views towards Bamburgh Castle and the Farne Islands. A gem of a property.

Lovely cottage, it housed 7 adults and a baby very comfortably. Well positioned to visit the Northumberland coast, and conveniently placed not far from the A1 for good access. Quiet location with several walks from the door.

We loved this house! It was spacious and quiet, with a fabulous view over towards the sea. We were 3 generations or our family and it suited us all. It's so well placed for visiting places - the coast, Bambrugh, Lindisfarne, Alnwick, Cragside.... the list goes on.

Great location just off the A1 with plenty of parking. The accommodation is nice and spacious with plenty of bathrooms for everyone. Some rooms could do with a good clean but it was a good sized property for two families of four

Lovely view of Bamburgh castle from the lounge. Shame no basic TV access - you dont always remember to take iplayer and Netflix passwords on holiday. Insufficient teaspoons. Cant recycle bottles. Apart from minor niggles great property.

This was a great place for the family, amazing location managed to get around the whole of Northumberland and everywhere within 15 to 30 minutes in the car. Beautiful views from the property, very spacious and catered well for all ages (our party varying ages from 9 - 72). Would definitely recommend a stay if you are wanting to see the sites aroundRead more Northumbria. Hide

Lounge was dusty on arrival and don't expect to have to empty the dishwasher, however this would not stop me from re booking as the views from the lounge window were fabulous.

The cottage was comfortable and well equipped. Not always a previous experience. The location was good. It was light and airy. It wasnt a compromise where someone had tried squeezing in another room. It matched the pictures on the website.
