Reviews

The house was excellent! Didn't realise it was an upside down house until we arrived, but it was all the better for seeing the gorgeous views. The house was excellently equipped and lots of excellent and clear information on appliances in the house and the local area. Had an excellent week.

Mrs D,

Had a fantastic week at 8 East Burton cottages which was the perfect base to explore the stunningly beautiful Northumberland coastline. The cottage was very well equipped with everything required for a comfortable and relaxing stay and we would definitely consider booking again when we are next visiting the Bamburgh area.

Mr C,

An upside down terrace cottage which maximised the views of the castle and the space. A boutique feel, and tastefully decorated, the cottage was comfortable, beautifully warm and extremely clean. It provided a great base to visit all the wonderful castles and stunning beaches. Owner provided a few extras which was a bonus.

Mrs C,

We found everything we expected from our accommodation came up to expectations. We had a thoroughly lovely time, exploring beautiful, Bamburgh Northumberland

Mrs B,

Great views of the castle from the upstairs and the coast. Very comfortable cottage with all amenities and excellent shower.

Mrs B,

We were absolutely delighted with our cottage, which was very comfortable and very tastefully furnished. Everything we could have asked for and more. Very comfortable beds are always a bonus. It was situated in the country with excellent views and was very peaceful and access to plenty of interesting activities. We were sad to leave. We would definitely recommend it.

Mrs P,

A property which has everything you need for great holiday. The view of Bamburgh Castle is a real bonus.

mrs L,

We found it to be a well presented, well equipped property in a lovely area. The views from the cottage are breathtaking and the daily aerobatic display presented by the local barn swallows was delightful.

Previous Customer,

Quality accommodation and exactly as described - very clean and well presented too. Would definitely recommend

Mr David M,

There were great views from the property across towards Bamburgh castle and the Farne Islands. Close to lovely beaches.

Mrs S,

Great place, great location, close to many lovely dog friendly beaches. It's modern with everything you could need, very warm with lovely decor. It was clean but there was some dusty parts especially high up, nothing that a feather duster wouldn't sort. Good sized garden which catches the sun in the afternoon. Lovely views. Some renovation work going on due to storm damage but it didn't disturb us just damages the view slightly from the balcony. Wouldn't return just as we like to visit different places but would recommend to others.

Mrs Tiffany B,

Views of the Castle great, but photos failed to show the outbuildings at the front of the house. We didn't sit outside in the garden as we didn't have the right weather. Would not have enjoyed the outlook of an old caravan and rubbish/mud etc. Appreciate problems with the storm, but feel not knowing this before we arrived dishonest.

Mrs Allison B,

Location and quality of the accommodation. The electric hook-up for the car was fantastic.
