Located just behind the peaceful quiet loop comprising the tail end of Front Street, Castleside Cottage is near the castle and set within a private and secluded gated complex. One of 3 houses forming part of the Crewe Courtyard Cottages collection, this is a stunning, newly converted, Grade II listed property, and as the name suggests, boasts unparalleled views of Bamburgh Castle.

Ground floor

A spacious and well equipped kitchen and dining area is on the ground floor. As well as a king sized bedroom with en-suite shower room (comprising of shower, WC and hand basin) and has French door access to a patio garden. There's also a guest toilet with WC and hand basin, a separate cloakroom and an enclosed patio garden with a selection of tables and chairs.

First floor

There's a comfortable living room with marvellous views of Bamburgh Castle, a smart TV and living flame electric fire. A twin bedroom with en-suite shower room, WC and basin has stunning views of Bamburgh Castle. The twin beds are zip & link to create a 6' double if required. Please specify your preference in special requirements.

Being in the heart of Bamburgh was great but unfortunately having previously been part of the Lord Crewe Hotel the accommodation was attached to the hotel and very near the kitchen area which meant the kitchen fans were quite audible in the upstairs bedroom from around 07:30am until late evening. The noise was constant and not desirable. There was Read morealso outside lighting at the back of the hotel which was illuminated all night and quite bright. If these could be addressed we would recommend the property. Hide

My sister and I have stayed in Castleside three years running and have booked again for 2025. I think that says it all! Guaranteed and secure parking, clean and comfortable property, close to the beautiful beach, facilities for food and restaurants right on the doorstep. Its perfect!

Wonderful property very secure, plus parking for 2 cars. The owners have thought of everything. Good range of places to eat in a very compact area. Wonderful views of Bamburgh Castle also short walk to Bamburgh Beach. Will definitely book again.

Everything about the cottage was amazing. We loved being in the centre of Bamburgh with the view over the Castle and good choices of places to eat. We particularly liked The Victoria and Lord Crewe.
