Description

This one-level, pet friendly coastal retreat has been lovingly renovated to provide the perfect base for your Norfolk holiday, based on a coastal path. The property is a modern bungalow with comfortable furnishings, a stylish finish, and just a three-minute walk to the beach. If you don’t fancy a dip in the sea, then you can enjoy unrestricted access to your very own luxury hot tub. The outdoor space has been lovingly landscaped with comfort in mind, with multiple spots to enjoy a cuppa in the sun or to watch the sunset in the evenings. The bungalow has two comfortable bedrooms, as well as a brand new fully-equipped kitchen and contemporary bathroom. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway for your small family or even just for two, The Cosy Coastal is well-equipped for a luxury self-catering stay. Shop/Pub: within walking distance

Walcott is an excellent location for a seaside holiday, with a sandy beach, excellent for summer days on the sands or long walks in winter. The village has shops and a pub which serves good food, with further facilities available either in Stalham, four miles away, or the traditional market town of North Walsham, which is six miles away. Bacton Wood is perfect for a day out with nature whether you are on foot or cycle with three walking trails to choose from. There is plenty to discover in the area - to the north find Cromer and its iconic Pier with year-round shows, golf in Mundesley and tennis in North Walsham and to the south, find the famously striped Happisburgh lighthouse and the local seal colony at Horsey Beach; visit over the winter and you will see seal pups too. Inland, The Broads National Park with 125 miles of waterways to discover is within easy reach and the hinterland in this part of Norfolk also makes great cycling country. Culture vultures will enjoy a trip to Norwich, which is also within easy reach.

What can I say that hasn't been said before, this is a lovely bungalow is so warm and cosy we had the pleasure of staying here over Christmas and it was wonderful, the Kitchen was so clean and well equipped as was the bathroom, loved all the shower gel, Shampoo etc such a lovely touch, as was the welcome basket. It is only a short stroll to the beach which was perfect for the dogs and to walk on the beach on Christmas morning heaven, the lighthouse inn is not far away the staff are so welcoming and friendly, Hot Tub in the garden was a bonus, so thank you to the host for letting us stay.

The cottage was so lovely and every thing that we needed for a home from home holiday, everything was lovely and clean and the beds were so comfortable. The location could not have been anymore perfect only a ten minuet walk from the shop and the beach only a five minuet walk the dogs really enjoyed there long runs on a really lovely beach, they had a wonderful holiday and so did we would certainly stay there again.

Beautifully presented and everything internally you could possibly need. Lovely little garden which was overlook by several houses so the hot tub was not a private as we were expecting. Good location and plenty of places to visit along the coast.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. So clean and the owners really have thought of everything. From board games to fans, outdoor games, shampoo/conditioner, laundry tablets ect. Fantastic welcome hamper as well. Stunning location, only a few minute walk to the beach. I would 100% recommend this place and we'll definitely be back!

Bungalow was extremely clean and very well equipped. Location perfect. Enclosed rear garden perfect for young children and dogs. Hot tub and plenty of seating. 2 mins walk to very clean dog friendly beach where the seals playfully watched us enjoying the beach. We will be returning next year.

Perfect location, literally 2 min walk from the never ending sandy beach. Our dogs absolutely loved it., as did we. Excellent garden, fully enclosed with security lights to keep your furry friends safe. Everywhere local is dog friendly. So much to do, we didn't have time to do everything, so we'll have to go back again!
