Come and relax in this attractive cottage near the coast and bring the dog too. Built in the 19th Century, this restored holiday home, with its exposed brick walls has charm and character built-in. A well-equipped, bespoke kitchen is at the heart of this one level holiday home and there is plenty of space for two, to relax and unwind. Take a seat by the pond and enjoy a barbeque in the garden on warmer days. The cottage is located on a designated Quiet Lane, which is a part of a rural scheme to attract walkers, cyclists and horse riders. The area is rich in local attractions with the Royal Cromer Golf Club, a tennis/squash club and a swimming pool within easy reach. Sidestrand is an attractive slice of Norfolk nestled just behind some beautiful and sandy east coast beaches. There are many attractions within easy reach of the village, including the Norfolk Coastal path, all the delights of the traditional seaside town of Cromer, with its golf, tennis, zoo, pitch & putt and iconic Pier shows and some good pubs and restaurants. Seek out a steam rail journey at Sheringham to take you to the elegant Georgian town of Holt for a lovely day out mooching around the boutique shops, art galleries, antique centres and so much more. Felbrigg Hall Estate and Gardens, Sheringham Park and Blickling Hall, all run by the National Trust, are nearby and there is some excellent birdwatching at Cley-next-the-Sea as well as in many of the charming coastal villages that are sprinkled along the north Norfolk coast. Boating on the Norfolk Broads is within 30 mins drive.Head south to the quiet hinterland of south east Norfolk and experience a different landscape, not forgetting a visit to the seal colony at Horsey whilst you are here.

This is a lovely cottage which is very dog friendly. Our pooch enjoyed the brilliant secure garden and field to run around in. It is very clean and well equipped, but make sure you take milk as there was none on arrival and its a long way to the shops. The owners were very friendly and helpful and the bottle of wine was a nice surprise.

Alex and Paula were very welcoming and friendly. They look after the property extremely well. The cottage is ideal for dogs with an enclosed garden, which was immaculately kept. We had a really pleasant stay and we would very much like to return.

Farm cottage is set in a very peaceful, idyllic location; down a quite lane, surround by the owners well kept gardens. The owners were friendly and helpful and offered us the opportunity to pick fruit from their extensive vegetable garden. The kitchen/living area is fine but we felt the bedroom and bathroom could do with some attention. The loveRead morely oak bed frame in the photographs has been replaced with an old wrought iron bed frame and sadly the bed linens, although thoroughly clean, were old and worn, likewise the towels and bath mat. Had a fantastic week here, such a lovely cottage with an amazing garden and great location. Can easily travel to Holkham and wells next the sea within 45/60 mins with lots more local beaches and attractions close by.
