Reviews

Waxwings was a delightful holiday bungalow and to a good standard. Our dogs loved the garden as there was plenty of rom to play.

Mrs A,

We went to Waxwings for two weeks total rest and coastal walks after a difficult year It was exactly what was required and our dog loved doing zoomies round the garden

Mr S,

Despite its location next to a busy road, we enjoyed the peace and quiet of this cottage and its extensive garden and the bird life which frequents it. A bonus is its proximity to the Drove Orchards Farm Shop complex with its fishmonger, incredible selection of apples and two 'Eric's' takeaways. We highly recommend the fish and chips and the pizzas looked very appetizing - and they had our preferred daily paper! We also enjoyed fine meals at local restaurants just down the road and re-visiting Tichwell reserve.

Mr C,

We've stayed at Waxwings several times before first in 2019. We love the location of the property and find it handy for all the places we like to visit. The furniture is a little tired and worn now and on this occasion a cleaning issue made things difficult. The garden was beautiful and in full bloom during our stay.

Mrs B,

The cottage was spacious and nice . Lovely location very quiet and also a stunning garden .

Mrs S,

Lovely place, ideal location and a superb garden for the dogs. You may want to bring your own towels as the supplied towels were small. Overall, a lovely place to stay.

Mrs E,

Lovely second stay at Waxwings and we have already booked a return visit. Beautiful house and garden

Mrs M,

Excellent location and comfortable stay in secluded cottage on north Norfolk coast.

Mr S,

Gorgeous property, beautifully decorated and well equipped. We’ve stayed twice now and already have a booking to return in July. We love the location, nearby walks and the local farm shop is absolutely fantastic. The cozy living room was decorated for Christmas which was much appreciated.

Miss T,

The property is elegantly furnished and was always comfortably warm with plenty of hot water. The garden is spacious, fenced and therefore ideal for dogs. The garden room with its glass roof was particularly impressive. We even saw migrating pink-footed geese! Location is very good with only a short drive to the nearest beach.
