Situated along the northern edge of the magical Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, the delightful town of Newport offers beautiful scenery and miles of magnificent walks. The town sits by the estuary of the River Nevern, with two lovely beaches close by: the sandy, dune-backed Newport Sands Beach, and Parrog with its charming rock pools. A couple of miles to the west, Aberfforest Beach features a small waterfall and is backed by a wooded valley. Heading inland, historic landmarks include the Castell Henllys Iron Age Village, Gors Fawr Stone Circle and the Pentre Ifan Burial Chamber which dates back to Neolithic times. A few miles to the west, the cheerful coastal town of Fishguard has a choice of great pubs and restaurants for you all to unwind in.
