Stay at a Mynytho holiday cottage

Get away from it all on the Llyn Peninsula in one of our self-catering, Mynytho holiday cottages. Mynytho is a small, rural village in North Wales and is the ideal setting for families, friends, and couples who enjoy outdoor adventure off the beaten track. You’ll find some truly spectacular walking routes in and around the village, or further afield you can explore the Yr Eifl mountains or the Wales Coast Path. For a day at the beach, Llanbedrog is within easy reach, with its sandy shores and colourful beach huts. You can also enjoy day trips to the Italianate village of Portmeirion and Eryri National Park (Snowdonia).

Mynytho is right at the heart of the Llyn Peninsula and its central location makes it a great base for those wishing to get out and about and explore the area. The nearby coastal market town of Pwllheli has an excellent array of shops and eateries, as well as a choice of sandy beaches. Alternatively, journey south to the bustling seaside resort of Abersoch, and Llanbedrog where you’ll find a family-friendly beach and a whole host of water sports to try during your holiday. Other beaches to add to the itinerary include Traeth Porthor with its ‘whistling sands’ and the surfing hotspot of Porth Neigwl. Nearby attractions include Criccieth Castle and Plas Newydd Country House and Garden. Take a look above at our full list of holiday homes and accommodation.
