Description

This charming converted farmhouse is situated, on a working sheep farm, surrounded by the Northern Fells, with fabulous views towards Blencathra. The location may feel rural, but you are only a mile away from Threlkeld village which boasts country pubs, a cricket pavilion, and a golf course. Enjoy a walk into the market town of Keswick, only 4 miles away, along the old railway path. Annually, Keswick hosts the Mountain Festival, with world-class sports, outdoor activities, talks, and films, along with live music. There are some fabulous walks, cycling routes, and climbing opportunities, all available on your doorstep. If you fancy a day of pampering, why not treat yourself to a spa day in one of the local hotels or visit the Lakes Distillery for a tour and tasting session?

This recently renovated cottage has been finished to a very high standard. Walk into the open-plan living space with a contemporary kitchen with breakfast bar which looks over the lounge. The lounge has a wall-mounted Smart TV, and a comfy sofa and is the perfect place to curl up, after a long day exploring, with a glass of wine and a good book. Off the lounge, you will find the bathroom. Head up the stairs to the first floor where you will find the spacious master suite which has a beamed ceiling and stunning views over the fells

There is a patio area in front of the cottage with seating, the area is a haven for wildlife and birds as well as the local farm animals which roam close by. It is the perfect spot on a nice evening to enjoy the dark skies from the private hot tub. On a summer's morning make plans with a morning coffee or dine alfresco in the evening.
