Lovely place and people . No grill or oven is a challenge for a self catering place . Overall it was really nice though and would use it again .

We've had a fabulous 2 night break. The views are stunning , so peaceful and the pod - I loved it. Clean ,modern and cosy. Enjoyed the little food treats left out too - gorgeous place.

It was amazing! The perfect stay

A beautiful cabin, such an amazing view outside and it's a brilliant location. Easy to get to Keswick or pooley bridge. Derwent water and ullswater just a short drive away. Everything you could need for a short break was available. A nice welcome basket also which had some much appreciated fudge and hot chocolate in. Very modern interior and a very comfortable bed. Overall perfect. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful scenery, stunning pod so cozy very clean, would definitely recommend as a get away if you love the countryside.

We had a great short stay here. Lovely well presented pod set in beautiful countryside not far from Keswick. The pod was spotless when we arrived and we had a delicious cream tea waiting for us. The pod was warm and cosy. It was the perfect place for us during our stay providing everything we needed to when we returned from our days walk around the lakes.

The pod was set in the most idyllic location with the most breathtaking views..It was clean,cosy and modern..i loved it and would happily live in something similar.seeing the stars at night through the roof window was extremely special and added to the whole experience .The extra touches of scones,brownies was such a welcoming treat..totally beautiful and tranquil.

Our stay at ‘Watson's Dodd' cabin was excellent, it was really comfortable, clean and spacious; the host was really friendly, as was her dog, Titch. The Lake District can be a really busy place, but this cabin will provide you with a really peaceful and idyllic spot to relax.

What a fantastic trip to the Lake District and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The pod had everything we needed and is only a short walk away from a few cosy pubs. Our host Rosie was incredibly helpful and made sure we were comfortable throughout. We will be back!

Amazing pod the best I've seen, great place to relax and distress. We had no issues thoroughly enjoyed it. One tip make sure you take all your food with you as shops are few and far between with limited parking in the villages. Apart from that enjoy and taken in all the scenery it's amazing.

Never stayed in a pod before but i was just blown away by Watson's Dodd. It was so clean, tidy, very stylish and had everything we needed. The view from our window was spectacular, the mighty Blencathra and Longscale Fell. Loved the theme of the highland cows. Loved the crockery - very good quality. Fabulous fluffy towels, spacious shower, lovely hot water and great water pressure. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone. i am a pod convert!

Really lovely accommodation. Everything we needed and more for a fantastic weekend in the Lake District. Welcone basket in arrival was lovely. Location perfect for exploring Keswick, Catbells and so many other nearby spots. Will definitely return.

Mire House is a wonderful place.. Run by an amazing family.. The accommodation was impeccable the attention to detail is fabulous.. Everything you can possibly think of is there at your convenience to use.. So dog friendly it was lovely as we could all relax.. You can't beat over looking Blencathra everyday it great. We have booked to go again its a perfect place

Beautiful views, very well-equipped and comfortable place to stay. A gorgeous place to come back to and relax in after a long hike. We had a lovely time and will definitely come again!
