Cottages in Sevenoaks

Sevenoaks is a delightful market town situated in the Weald.  The Weald is a lovely area in the South East which falls between the North Downs and South Downs.  It stretches through Kent and Sussex, as well as other South East counties including Hampshire and Surrey.  Once ancient forest land, the Weald is now a beautiful landscape of rolling green countryside.

Sevenoaks is surrounded by picturesque countryside, perfect for people looking for a break in the country!  There are lots of popular walks to enjoy with plenty of flora and fauna to keep wildlife enthusiasts content.  The town itself has held a regular market since the thirteenth century.  The Saturday market day allows people staying in our properties to stock up their holiday store cupboard with fresh local produce.

Close to Sevenoaks is the impressive Knole house.  This stately home is a popular National Trust property which still has its family heirs in residence.  Knole house is an unusually large home which overlooks the beautiful Weald countryside.  It's certainly worth a visit just to get lost in, there are so many stairwells, twelve entrances, a debatable number of rooms and even more stories to tell of its history.
