Good place for 2 but feel 4 people would feel a bit cramped, storage is limited. Beautiful for bird watching, they seem to love sunflower seeds, and star gazing. No artificial light, you can see evey star. Wonderful views to the front of the property but the rear backs directly on to the Hastings road and is very noisy. Great location and beautiful, peacefully setting. Be wary if you're tall as there's low beams and doorways!

Lovely cosy cottage, everything at hand. Great place for us and the dog; we made some very nice walks straight from the fenced garden into the open field. And everything interesting is nearby: castles, gardens, Rye, Hastings, Battle etc.

A magical location, tucked away beside a tranquil fishing lake and surrounded by the gentle Kentish countryside. The location is good for days out in Kent & Sussex but be aware, there is a great deal of noise from the A road. The Cottage itself is basic and needs some TLC, nothing matches and there is very little storage and nowhere to hang anything. The grounds are impressive, we enjoyed watching the birds in the garden area. Take bird food with you, and Read moremaybe deck chairs as the garden furniture is very primitive. Hide

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Bluebell Barn. It was clean and comfortable and ideal for people with dogs. The outside area was perfect, with an enclosed garden and then the little lake and beautiful countryside further on. Great location for exploring Kent and East Sussex and lots to do and see. Hosts were very friendly and helpful.
