Excellent property in a great location. The owner was vey helpful and made us feel very welcome. We certainly recommend this property.

Mrs H,

Peaceful, spotless, well-equipped and pretty property paces from beach and excellent pub, beach hut is amazing. Unique location. Thoroughly recommend this cottage.

Mrs S,

Great property, great location; the staircase is very steep, but provided that doesn't phase you, the rest is excellent. Having the beach hut and a dedicated parking space are a great bonus, and the proximity of pubs is fantastic. Very good on providing information on how all the appliances work, so we were never stuck wondering "how do we do x?".

Mr S,

Fourth time we have stayed in this property so that says it all. Everything you could need is here and of course it is in a superb location.

Mr G,

We had a most enjoyable week in Fisherman’s Cottage. We found Kingsdown an ideal base from which to tour this corner of England and loved the quiet laid back feel of the place. The cottage was warm and cosy to return to after an outing and was well equipped. The stairs are particularly steep and require some care to negotiate if you are elderly like us but everything else was ideal. It was good having somewhere to park the car and the little garden was most attractive and would be great in warm weather. Having a beach hut was an extra treat and we had a couple of very pleasant mornings there. A cosy cottage, very close to the sea with a pub at both ends of the lane and lovely walks in both directions what’s not to like?!

Mrs T,

The location for this property is perfect. Warm weather enabled us to make the most of a beautiful little garden and a wonderful beach hut. The cottage is adorably quaint, well appointed and well-equipped. There are two pubs nearby (outdoor drinks for us because of Covid-19). Walking from the cottage in any direction (except out to sea) and in the area generally made it perfect for dog walking.

Mrs G,
