This house was in a perfect location in Broadstairs. It felt like home as soon as you went through the door. It has everything you need for a really comfortable stay with a well equipped kitchen and the bonus of a sunny courtyard and parking. The house is just a short walk from Pierremont Park which you can walk through to take you down to the sea front. There are loads of restaurants and bars/pubs in Broadstairs - something for every taste. The other area it's near is St Peter's - there is a great pub (the Little Albion) in that area, along with the Four Candles opposite - a little micro brewery. You can walk for miles along the lovely beaches or across the cliffs to Margate or Ramsgate and beyond. It's a real gem - good value for money. We'll be coming back soon.
Millers cottage was a lovely comfortable cottage in a great location off the high street and only a few minutes walk from some lovely beaches. The property was clean and bright and really nicely decorated with a seaside feel to it. There were some nice restaurants nearby and local shops as well as a small park. The kitchen was well equipped with all that you could really want though a coffee make of some sort would be a nice addition. Everything you needed on arrival milk tea and coffee and cleaning products were provided. The 2 main bedrooms were very comfortable though I would say that the 3rd bedroom was small and more suited to a child. The parking space was too small for us even to attempt to park a medium size hatchback though we did find parking nearby we didn't use the car at all. There is a good bus and train service up and down the coast. We could have done with some simple instructions of how to use dish washer and microwave as we had to use the handbooks and some spare keys . Over all i would definitely recommend the property and thought it was good value given the location and how comfortable and cosy it was and the use of the garden outside chairs table and parasol useful as the weather was lovely .
Our third stay at this cottage which is perfect for our family, a quiet location off the beaten track but only a short walk to the high street and everything the lovely town of Broadstairs has to offer. The cottage is bright, comfortable and well equipped, parking can be difficult so it was good to have a designated space albeit a tight fit. We also enjoyed having a garden but would have liked an outside washing line.
Millers Cottage was a perfect place for 4 of us to enjoy a week’s holiday….everything was spotlessly clean …..the beds were extremely comfortable and we appreciated the little thoughtful additions …..the bunting ….pictures etc We had two dogs with us and there was plenty of room for their cages which they slept in every night. This cottage is extremely comfortable and easily accommodates 4 people plus 2 dogs . It felt more like staying in someone’s home rather than a holiday cottage.
