Excellent location in a quiet road with the sea nearly on your doorstep. You can see the sea from the top bedroom window so every morning I would check the weather by looking at the sea, blustery, calm etc. All the shops, pubs, restaurants are all within a few minutes walk as well. Highly recommend seeing a film at the Palace Cinema and sitting in the balcony. It only seats 111 people and is a lovely place to see a film. You can walk to Ramsgate along the coast, you can walk to Margate but it’s longer and there is a loop bus. We jumped on a train to Canterbury as Broadstairs station was 10 mins from the cottage. First time in Broadstairs and loved staying at the cottage which was very homely and comfortable and we slept very well every night. Will come again.
We loved our stay at Goodwin Cottage. It had everything we needed and felt like a home from home. We all would have liked to stay a few more days. The beach was so close as were the shops and it’s ideal for getting out and about. We visited a number of English Heritage castles and the Spitfire and Hurricane Museum in Manston. Lots of places to eat out or have a drink.
We had a very enjoyable week in Broadstairs! Goodwin Cottage was perfectly located with a short walk to both the town and beach. A bonus was having the driveway as parking in town is fairly limited. The cottage was more than adequate for our needs though could benefit from some modernisation.
Immaculately clean and well-equipped house in an ideal, but very quiet location- only a few minutes walk into town with all the bars, restaurants and shops and only 1 minute from 2 lovely beaches. It was lovely to have our own parking space in the drive. The rooms were all large and comfortable with plenty of seating in the lounge and wardrobe space in the bedrooms. The bathrooms were lovely and both showers were hot and powerful. Kitchen very well equipped and appreciated having a washing machine and a little outside area where we could sit and also hang out our washing. Big TV was also enjoyed! Cannot recommend this property highly enough and would definitely return!
Another beautiful holiday in this cottage! Can't wait to come back next year ❤️
Lovely house with everything we needed. Great location. Good walk to Margate with stop at Captain Digby and visit to the Turner with a very cheap bus ride back on the Loop. Many thanks.
