Eye and its surrounds are a walker’s paradise – just 4 miles away the trails at Thornham Walks are open daily, dog-friendly and stretch across 12 miles of beautiful woodland, parkland and working farmland. In the opposite direction, a circular walk from Denham includes a stop at The Red Feather Club, a museum that explains the role of this region during World War II. For garden-lovers, a visit to Bressingham near Diss is a must;  there’s a collection of steam-powered trains and traction engines, while fairground rides will keep the children entertained.
