Dating back to the 19th Century, this beautiful traditional Purbeck stone cottage is thought to originally be a quarryman’s cottage. The cottage is packed with original period features, none more so than in the spacious living room with stone walls, beautiful beams, flag stone flooring and large inglenook fire place with working log burner.
The pretty cottage kitchen/diner with underfloor heating has everything you need for your stay, including a door to a delightful stonewall courtyard garden with seating and views of the Purbeck hills, perfect for eating al fresco.
Steep narrow winding stairs lead up to the large bedroom with dual aspect windows.
The cottage is in a quiet road situated in the older part of Swanage; the South West coast path can be easily accessed from the property and leads along the iconic Jurassic coast with breath taking views. The town centre with its sandy bay is around a mile away and can be safely walked form the cottage. Take time to explore the array of independent retailers, galleries and antique shops and relax with coffee and cake in one of the towns delightful cafes.
